Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026
Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. About these Terms

Relay2 Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Relay2"), provides the Relay2 service. In these Terms, "you" means the individual or organization that holds a Relay2 account. Contact support@relay2.app for support, privacy, deletion, abuse reports, or legal inquiries. These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover Relay2's account services, link-management tools, analytics reports, paid plans, and related features on relay2.app and the rly2.link short-link domain (the "Service").

You accept these Terms by checking the acceptance box when you create an account or start a paid plan, and Relay2 records the version you accepted. The Privacy Policy and the Cookies and Link Tracking Notice explain how Relay2 handles personal information. You acknowledge them, but they are notices and do not form part of these Terms. If the plan, price, or promotion terms shown at checkout conflict with these Terms, the checkout terms control for that purchase.

2. Accounts, eligibility, and authority

Account holders must be at least 18 and have reached the age of majority where they reside. If you create or use an account for a business, client, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organization. An agency or consultant that manages links for a client must have the client's permission for each link, destination, and campaign it manages and remains responsible for its own account. Unless the Service offers a shared-access feature, each account belongs to one account holder, and you may not share sign-in credentials. Provide accurate information, keep it current, and protect your sign-in methods, including your Google or Apple account and email sign-in links. You are responsible for activity in your account, except activity caused by Relay2's failure to meet its own security obligations. Tell Relay2 promptly at support@relay2.app if you suspect unauthorized access. Relay2 asks for your date of birth and place of residence during account setup to check eligibility and may decline or close an account that does not meet these requirements.

3. Visitors are not account holders

Opening a public Relay2 link does not create an account, enroll you in a subscription, accept these Terms, or consent to optional tracking. No date of birth is required merely to follow a link. Relay2's Privacy Policy and Cookies and Link Tracking Notice describe how Relay2 handles visitor information. These Terms govern only the relationship between Relay2 and account holders and do not limit any right a visitor has under the law.

4. Links and destinations

Relay2 routes shortened links to destinations configured by link owners. Owners may change destinations or enable routing options. You are responsible for every destination you configure, including later changes, and for making sure each destination and redirect complies with the law and these Terms. Public short links are not confidential or access controls, even when a creator profile is private. Relay2 may screen destinations, decline to create a link, block or suspend a link, or show a safety notice before a redirect when Relay2 reasonably believes a link is unsafe, unlawful, or violates these Terms. Relay2 does not review every destination and does not promise that any destination is safe. Third-party destinations control their own services and policies. Relay2 is not a party to any purchase, subscription, investment, or other transaction between you or a visitor and a destination, and Relay2 is not responsible for destination content, products, or payments.

5. Affiliate relationships

Creators are responsible for affiliate-program rules and clear disclosures of paid relationships. Relay2 does not establish merchant agreements or guarantee clicks, conversions, commissions, or payment. Entering a referral rate records your stated terms. It does not verify a payable commission. Unless expressly authorized through a described feature, Relay2 does not replace your affiliate identifier with its own.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Relay2 for phishing, malware, fraud, cryptocurrency or investment scams, impersonation of any person, brand, or organization, counterfeit or fraudulent destinations, deceptive redirects, changing a destination after creation to avoid review, infringement, harassment, unlawful content, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, cookie stuffing, forced affiliate clicks, artificial conversions, or bypassing privacy choices. Do not fingerprint visitors, send messages that violate anti-spam laws, or probe, overload, or interfere with the Service. Links to sexually explicit content are not permitted unless Relay2 has enabled a feature that expressly allows them. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, government identifiers, or sensitive personal information in URLs or campaign parameters.

Lawful marketing, affiliate, and agency use of the Service is permitted when it complies with these Terms and with advertising, endorsement, and anti-spam laws.

7. Abuse reports and enforcement

Anyone may report a suspected unsafe or abusive link to support@relay2.app. Relay2 reviews reports and may block a link, disable destination changes, restrict features, or suspend an account. Relay2 may act without advance notice when a link poses an immediate risk to visitors, security, or others, or when the law requires prompt action. Relay2 will tell you what action it took and why, unless the law or a security risk prevents it. You may ask for review by replying to that notice or writing to support@relay2.app, and Relay2 will restore a link or account if review shows the action was a mistake.

Copyright owners may send infringement notices to Relay2's designated copyright agent at support@relay2.app. Relay2 may disable links identified in a valid notice and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

8. Your content and social accounts

You retain rights in submitted content and grant Relay2 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, format, and display it only as needed to provide, secure, and support the features you request and the visibility settings you choose. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies Relay2 keeps under the Privacy Policy and content others already received through links you shared. You must have permission to submit it. Connecting a social account authorizes only the approved access. Profiles are private by default. Relay2 shows your profile to brands only if you turn on brand discovery, and you can turn it off at any time.

9. Relay2's Service

Relay2 and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, and report formats. Subject to these Terms, Relay2 grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your personal or business purposes. Do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, or access it through automated means other than features or interfaces Relay2 provides, except as the law allows.

10. Reporting limitations

Traffic and value reports can be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or affected by bots, browser controls, merchant rules, and consent choices. Estimated value is not confirmed revenue. Merchant or affiliate-network records may differ. Unique or returning visitor figures, where offered, are estimates based on the method described in the Cookies and Link Tracking Notice. Reports show aggregated counts and do not identify individual visitors.

11. Subscriptions

Relay2 offers free and paid plans. Relay2 sells paid plans through its website checkout, billed monthly or annually at the price shown at checkout plus applicable taxes. Before you pay, the checkout page shows the price, billing interval, renewal terms, any promotion and how long it lasts, and how to cancel. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel, and Relay2 charges your payment method on file at the start of each renewal period. After purchase, Relay2 sends you a confirmation of these terms and how to cancel. You can cancel at any time online through the billing settings in your account or by writing to support@relay2.app. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid features continue until the end of the current billing period, and Relay2 does not charge you again after cancellation takes effect. Mandatory consumer rights remain available. Refund eligibility for a purchase is stated at checkout. Relay2 refunds charges made in error and charges made after a cancellation took effect. If a payment fails, Relay2 notifies you and may retry the charge. If the amount remains unpaid, Relay2 may limit paid features or move your account to the free plan. Relay2 will give you notice of a price increase for your plan before it takes effect, and at least the notice the law requires, so you can cancel first. If your account moves to a plan with lower limits, the new limits apply from the downgrade date. Before a downgrade, Relay2 tells you how links, reports, and data above the new limits will be handled, including whether those links keep redirecting, and Relay2 will not stop a link from redirecting because of a downgrade without that notice.

Introductory discounts. Relay2 may offer an introductory discount for a new paid plan. The checkout page states the discount, the billing periods it covers, and the full price that applies afterward. Unless the checkout page says otherwise, an introductory discount is available once per person, organization, and payment method, applies only to a first paid subscription, and cannot be combined with other offers. Relay2 may decline a redemption that does not meet these conditions.

12. Changes, suspension, and deletion

Relay2 may suspend or restrict an account or link for abuse, security threats, unlawful activity, nonpayment, or a material violation of these Terms. Relay2 gives notice and a chance to respond where practicable and lawful, and may act first when delay would create risk to visitors, the Service, or others. You may close your account at any time and may request account deletion at support@relay2.app. Suspended or deleted links stop redirecting, and reports for deleted links are no longer available. Relay2 keeps information after deletion only as described in the Privacy Policy.

Relay2 may update these Terms. Relay2 will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the Service before a material change takes effect, and changes apply only going forward. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before it takes effect. A change to the dispute resolution section does not apply to a dispute that arose before the change.

13. Service availability and disclaimers

Relay2 does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the safety and continued availability of third-party destinations. Relay2 does not offer a service-level agreement or uptime commitment. Mandatory consumer protections are not waived.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," and Relay2 disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Relay2 does not warrant that reports are error-free or that destinations are safe, lawful, or available. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that the law does not allow Relay2 to exclude.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, RELAY2 IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, COMMISSIONS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. RELAY2'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID RELAY2 FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE FIRST CLAIM, OR (B) US$100. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR RELAY2'S GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FRAUD, OR TO LIABILITY THAT THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW RELAY2 TO LIMIT.

15. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you will defend and indemnify Relay2 and its officers, employees, and agents against third-party claims, and related losses and reasonable legal fees, to the extent the claim arises from (a) a link, destination, or content you submit, (b) your violation of these Terms or the law, or (c) your dealings with your clients, affiliate programs, merchants, or visitors. You do not owe this obligation to the extent a claim arises from Relay2's own breach, negligence, or misconduct. Relay2 will give you prompt written notice of the claim, let you control the defense with counsel reasonably acceptable to Relay2, and reasonably cooperate at your expense. Relay2 may participate with its own counsel at its own cost. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by Relay2 or imposes obligations on Relay2 without Relay2's written consent, which Relay2 will not unreasonably withhold. A delay in notice reduces your obligation only to the extent the delay prejudices the defense.

16. Disputes and governing law

Governing law. Washington law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration provisions. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any law where you live that cannot be waived by contract.

Informal resolution and mediation. Before starting arbitration or a court case, the party with a claim must send a written notice describing the claim and the relief requested, to support@relay2.app for claims by you or to your account email for claims by Relay2. The parties will try to resolve the claim informally for 14 days after the notice. If it is not resolved, either party may request mediation with a mediator both parties agree on, which ends 30 days after the request unless both parties agree in writing to extend it. If the parties have not agreed on a mediator within 10 days after the request, the mediation step ends. The parties split the mediator's fees equally, except that Relay2 pays all mediator fees for a consumer claim. Deadlines to file a claim are paused while these steps are pending. These steps do not apply to small-claims cases, requests for urgent injunctive relief, or complaints to a government agency.

Arbitration. Except for the claims excluded below, any dispute between you and Relay2 arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules if you are a consumer, or its Commercial Arbitration Rules otherwise, as in effect when the claim is filed. You may choose to have the hearing held by video or telephone, or in person in the county where you live. For a consumer claim, Relay2 pays all AAA administrative fees and arbitrator compensation other than the filing fee the AAA consumer fee schedule assigns to you. If the AAA mass arbitration rules and fee schedule apply to a group of claims, those rules govern how the claims are administered. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could award.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Either party may ask a court for urgent injunctive relief against abuse of the Service or infringement of intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from reporting a concern to a government agency or from seeking public injunctive relief in court where the law does not allow that remedy to be waived, and any such court claim will be paused until the individual arbitration ends. The arbitration and class action waiver provisions do not apply to consumers who live in Canada.

Class action waiver. To the extent the law allows, you and Relay2 may bring claims only individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding. If a court decides this waiver is unenforceable for a particular claim or remedy, that claim or remedy will proceed in court, and this section still applies to all other claims.

Opt-out. You may opt out of the arbitration provisions by emailing support@relay2.app within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with your name, account email, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. If Relay2 makes a material change to these provisions, you may opt out of the change within 30 days after Relay2 gives notice of it. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

Courts. Any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought in the state courts located in Snohomish County, Washington, or the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there. A consumer may instead bring a claim in a court where the consumer lives if the law gives the consumer that right.

17. General terms

These Terms and the plan, price, and promotion terms shown at checkout are the entire agreement between you and Relay2 about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Relay2's written consent. Relay2 may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, but this does not excuse payment of fees already owed. Relay2 sends notices to your account email or in the Service. You may send notices to support@relay2.app or by mail to Relay2 Technologies, Inc., 600 1st Ave #3026, Seattle, WA 98104. Provisions that by their nature should continue after these Terms end, including fees owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and disputes, survive termination.
